Inspiration: Veruschka

I am very inspired by models. Models that have made their mark & changed the industry. Models such as Twiggy, Dovima, Suzy Parker, Dorian Leigh! I count this long-limbed exotic  beauty  among them, but we all know her as Veruschka. She Appeared  on  Vogue 11 times in her career. she was born in 1939. She was born what was then called East Prussia, now  Kaliningrad, Russia as Countess Vera Gottliebe Anna Gräfin von Lehndorff-SteinortHer mother was the former Countess Gottliebe von Kalnein (b. 1913). Her father was a German count who joined the German resistance. He was later executed for attempting to assassinate  Hitler.  After his death, the remaining family members spent their times in labor camps until the end of the war, where  her family was left homeless.

She later moved to Florence, where she was discovered at age 20 by the photographer Ugo Mulas and became a full-time model & the rest is history. I can't help but to inspired by her beautiful exotic photos. They really are works of art!
